Chanel Frenzy

I have a certain weakness for Chanel polishes. I feel like they can do no wrong!! Even "normal" nudes or pinks just look extra special because they're Chanel and seeing the interlocking Cs at the top of the bottle makes me so happy!!!!!! Hehe.

Here is Frenzy, part of the Fall 2012 collection. When I first saw it I was in the middle of a "work appropriate" colour phase. The more I saw swatches the more I wanted it! Not to mention I was on the lookout for a nude colour that would be clean and not "thick" looking. Frenzy was everything I was looking for!

Pictured is about 2-3 coats and a layer of top coat. The formula is thin so I added a 3rd coat on fingers where there were still bald streaks. Even with three coats it didn't feel thick at all! And I felt like my nails look really polished and professional, very very suitable for work (:

The formula was good! Back when I first started on my polish addiction and OPI/China Glaze were not so readily available, I was in love with Chanel for the great formula (as compared to cheapo polishes). The brush is small, similar to the CG ones but doesn't spread as widely. Even though this colour is not the most unique, I still LOVE it and never fail to keep staring at my nails when I have it on!

Anyone has recommendations for greige/taupe/nude colours for asian skin? What are your favourites! Would love to hear (:

  4. What a beautifully perfect and striking color on you! I was scrolling through my reader and kind of stopped in my tracks, lol. TOTALLY understand the thought process behind the Chanel, too. :)
